query help

I am working on a program that tracks visitors on a site. It stores ip, referer, page accessed, access time, and user agents. I am having trouble coming up with a query that can
1. select distict ip
2. select the latest access time for that ip
3. and then order the results by access time showing the most recent first.

Hi,
if you use

SELECT ip, acc_time, page FROM mytable ORDER BY ip, acc_time DESC

you can extract all rows and each time the ip change value this is the latest access time.
