PHP_SELF Question

I have a form and when the submit button is clicked it should do something like this:

<form method="post" action="<?$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']?blah=blah2?>">

But that doesn't work, I've tried a few different combinations but nothing is worked. So when the submit button is clicked the page refreshes to the same page but displays only the blah=blah2 part. I have all if it correct except this bit. Thanks. 🙂

You just need to echo out the value of the variable

<form method="post" action="<? echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . "?blah=blah2" ?>">

Thanks for this. It does work, however it displays the information prior to clicking the "I Agree" button. I only want the new information to be displayed. Thanks. 🙂

What is "it"?
Basically, your question was about PHP_SELF, now it is about something else (i.e. the logic of your script).
You'll need to provide more info.

Here's an example of what I use for the submit variable link.

printf("<a href=\"%s?begin=1\">Begin</a><br>", $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']);

And if you are wanting more than that, laserlight is right. We need more input.

Sorry let me be more clear:

There is some text along with the checkbox and submit button. When that submit button is clicked I only want the information that follows the submit button to be displayed, not the text when you first go to the page. For example:

Do you agree?
Yes [checkbox here]
[submit button]

// The submit button is clicked, now this is what is displayed:

else {
//display checkbox code and submit button
}
