How does one go from Junior Member to Member and then to Senior Member?
I see the different distinctions on posts but don't how one graduates to the next level. Is it based solely on the number of posts?
It's just the number of posts. From 1-30 you are junior member, then a member and >100 senior member.

I also see "Balding Member" and Illegal Member,...so I am assuming these are probably the folks that run things...being funny. Thank goodness they are also helpful. ;-)
no, you can also modify that "senior member" message in the user control panel. But i think it's only once you've reached "senior member".
You don't have to be a senior member to edit that text, just go to the edit profile section, and there is a box in there, that you can use to change it.
