Send mail script... php.ini

Hey everyone, while configuring the php.ini thingo to make a send mail script, I've gotten a little confused.

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = localhost

; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = [e-mail]

Here's the scenario - I'm making a form that send mail from somewhere to my email address, not from my email address to somewhere. What should I set these things to, so that I can recieve emails from people visiting my site, not send emails to them. Just a simple feedback form. My email is [e-mail], could someone please substitute my email in the right places, and explain how to do it properly.

i guess u work with a windoze machine? then u need to put the name of a valid smtp server here:
SMTP = localhost
But since u use hotmail, it's not that easy.... u need to have some smtp machine u have access to, and since those free server always have been used for spamming, u will encounter lots of problems... most servers nowadays use authentification (which is not supported by php, i think) or check the senders email etc. So it would be best if u could get an account at your company's server...
Maybe have a look at php's imag extension, this nmight support authentification.

i d/led a windowz smtp server (freeware) called MailEnable.. all i did was install it, keeping my smtp = in php to local host... worked great the first time up... if you're interested, this is probly the BEST way to go if you don't have any other free way to do it..
