I have an image, which when I click it I want it to play a wav file. Can someone tell me how to do this?

Your best bet would be to do some research with Javascript, most likely attribute onclick ...

It would be something like <img src="" onclick="do(sound)"> The exact code would actually look different.. But you get the general idea.

Is it ok to have more than one script language running on web pages? I was hoping I could stick with just HTML to do this (and PHP), but I don't know my options.

you can't use php to call an onclick cuz it's server side

using javascript is the best solution for this

and yes you can use html, javascript, and php on the same page with no hitches
