Problems With Remote mySQL DB..

I'm having a problem with the Query time being allot longer when I have my database on a remote server. This page will show the the connect/query time for both the local and remote databases:

The table it is accessing is pretty large, but the query time on the remote server is allot longer then on the local machine.

could be an issue where the remote server is located. They could have thier server "overloaded" and not have the ability to handle banwidth very well. I would contact them and let them know the prob that you are having.

Other than that, I would not know what else to do.

the remote server is not overloaded at all.. it's 97% idle...
