imageJPEG problem

Hi guys,

I am having difficulties with the imageJPEG function.

My provider has just upgraded the productionserver to php4.3.1 with GD2.0 with JPEG support. (thank god)

When I try to create a JPEG image with ImageJPEG I get the error

Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open '../_img/_user/1055238385_DSC00548.jpg' 
for writing in /home/www/engelgroep.com/public_html/cmt/_ssi/uploadscript.php on line 86

Is this an write-permission error?

Hi,

seems indeed like a permissions problem. Did you check that the access rights are either set for all users or that the apache user is the owner of the file(s) ?

Thnx for the info. The problem persist not on my local Apache server but on the productionserver of the hostingcompany so I don't know what they're doing/ have done with accesrights.

I just wanted to make sure my script is ok 'cause it works fine on our local server 😃
