Simple image resize function.

I need a simple image resize function. I need it to create images that are 100px high and nothing bigger that 200px wide. can anyone help as it has been driving me mad.

what if he hasnt got gd2? (not being awkward, this would just answer a question of mine!)

is there anyother way to do it?? i have thought about just editing the <img height=? width=?> tags but this gives a poor quality and not properly resized image.

Anyother ideas??
