Due to the fact that my regular WIndows computer is in the repair shop for an indefinate amount of time, I am currently using a rather old mac running OS 9.1. Is it even possible to install php/apache(or other server)/MySQL on this platform? I've looked around PHPmac.com, but this url is rather misleading as it deals exclusively with OS X. Please advise!
to use os9, you would need to get whats called WebStar(costs money), that is one of the few webservers that will run on os9
apache will only run on os X
WHat are the names of the other few servers?? OS 9 hardly deservs to be called an operating system, but it was around for so long I find it hard to believe there were no opensourse servers for it.
sorry man doesn't look good, thats the reason they had OS X Server way before they had OS X for the workstation
