session problem ... i think

need some help please,
i'm trying to handle several sessions independently, i need to have the possibility to open a 2+ of browser windows and have 2+ different sessions ? how can i do that ? i've tried with session_register(), but the second window shares the session with the first window.

i'm lost, shouldn't it be done with session variables ???

I could be wrong, but I think that any child windows of the original window where your session was created will continue using the same session as the original...so if your main window is spawning the new windows you won't get a seperate session...

why would you need two seperate sessions running for one client anyway?

my problem does not refers to child windows, (i do need child windows to share the session variables), but to two 'parent' windows independent of each other.

about the reason, thats not the case yet, but imagine u have a forum with user authentication and u want to test it, u need 2+ different clients accessing the server at the same time, but each of them with his own session.
