string, what to do?

i wanna use php to manipulate a simple txt file. so, i did

$url="a.txt";
	$remote = fopen($url, 'r'); 
    $string = fread($remote, 1048576); 

the a .txt file starts like this

blahblahblahablahblahblahblahblahblahblah
###########################3
content
content
content
#######################3

i want to strip everything except the content parts(just want
content
content
content

.. how should i do this?

you can split the string using a regular expression. this will split the string between the sections that start with # and end with 3.

$arr = preg_split("/#+3/", $string);
$content = $arr[1];
