seemless refresh?

Is there a code or any trick to make it dont flash the page as it reload?

I have something dat use java and hidden frames.
-PHP send info to javapage.html.
-The hidden javapage.html is in a frame that always refresh.
-The javapage.html change the display frame.

Is there any other way of doing so?
