Shameless newbie question...

Here's the situation. I have a date I retrieve from one of my tables. The variable I store that date to is called $storeddate. I want to know what $storeddate - 7 days equals.

I know. It is a shameless newbie question. Sorry. 😃

If $storeddate was 2003-06-14 I would expect the result to return 2003-06-07.

How about this

$lastweek = date( 'Y-m-d',strtotime( "$storedate -7 days" ) );

It returns the date in the same format, but you can change that if you want to.
