I have root access to the server.
I made the "mistake" of restarting apache (which I've done before with no problem). However since that last time I've had a digital certificate installed. I get a message that says:
Some of your private key files are encrypted for security reasons.
In order to read them you have to provide us with the pass phrases.
Server your.server.dom:443 (RSA)
Enter pass phrase:...
I don't know the pass phrase, and OK, the guy who installed the cert isn't available.
- Can I find the pass phrase (as root) in plain text anywhere?
- If not, how can I override this?
THANKS FOR SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THIS AND CAN ASSIST.
Sincerely,
Sam Fullman
