Image Upload Problem

I have installed PIGMySql which lets you have an online image gallery. However it will not let my upload any files. I have been in contact with the person who wrote it and we tried a few things but he is at a loss to understand why it is not working for me. I tried a few other online gallery systems that let you upload an image as well and they all ran into the same problem.

With his system it puts the image into a MySql database instead of a file so that should not be an issue. I did not build the server myself, but if anyone has an idea where the hangup is and how to fix and/or find it would be great. Thanks.

We firstly when i make uploads i dont have the file uploaded to the database itself. But a URL or filename. Then link it to a directory.

Anyway can we see some code.

As I said, this isn't my code 🙂 , so here is the php file that hopefully will be attached as a file to this message since it is rather lengthy. The config file it mentions at the start only has variables defineing database name, login/pw, database server, and base URL.

The author said I am the first to report this. However I have read a few places on the internet people talking about having some problems with post. I have this in Newbies because as far as linux/apache/mysql/php I definatly am 😃 . My expertise has been NT/IIS/Acess/CFML.
