User Chosen CSS file

I'd like the people viewing my site to be able to choose an external style sheet. (one in my list of stylesheets, not one they submit) I'd also like to keep it server-side, and keep it from the address bar.

The desired effect would be the same as www.csszengarden.com only I'd prefer it be cookie implemented, not address implemented. (so someone could choose their favorite layout for my site and keep it that way each time they viewed it)

Is there a way to do this and implement a cookie with php? I'm sorry if this has been beaten to death in the past, but the only thing I've come up with in my searches have been browser-detecting scripts, and I try to keep my css as multi-browser compatable as possible, so I'm not as worried about that.

Okay, I just read through a hundred or so pages of a php book, and this is what I've come up with:

I let the user pass the variable through the address bar 🙁

So you can go to www.woventhorns.com/learning/index.php and it will default to the regular style, but you can change it by typing in www.woventhorns.com/learning/index.php?style=print
so far the only two styles are print and wtp

Is there an easy way to set this in a cookie, and use $POST instead of $GET?

I really don't want it visible in the command line just yet, although I wouldn't mind it to work either way, maybe using $_REQUEST?

I'm getting ready to implement this on my site (I'm doing different colour schemes, creating the images on the fly).

One thing that is important, AFAIK you must set the cookie in the lowest level directory from which you would want to access its contents.

i.e. set the cookie in [url]http://www.domain.com,[/url] not http://www.domain.com/cookie or whatever

try

setcookie ("theme", $theme);

where $theme is the theme name

then to retrieve, use

$theme=$_COOKIE["theme"];

To set the css theme:-

have the url as something.php?settheme=print

setcookie ("csstheme", $_GET['settheme']);

then when echoing page to user use:-

$_COOKIE["csstheme"];

as name of the css file
