Should those people that ignore the FAQ and like to shotgun have a temporary ban ?

Hmmm - a newbie would post in the newbie forum, or at least you would think so.... in which case - the FAQ is the top post...

Shotgun - a definition
To post the same question again, and again in different forums, whilst trying to get their question answered.

So, if we know that they post in different forums, and if they include the newbie one, wouldn't they see the FAQ as the top post ??

Do I perceive that as an excuse ? I'll leave that one up to you...

Bumpers, shotgunners. Give 'em help with some free code; then embed a suexec() call to 'shutdown -h now', IMHO.

IIRC, there's an Active-X equivalent for Windoze...

As for shotgunning, that'd be someone who posts the same exact question in General Help, Coding, Newbies, Install, Feedback, EL, etc., etc., etc.,
