how to delete the directory on win system??

please help me !
when i use rmdir() on win2000 system
it says:
Warning: RmDir failed (Permission denied) in delfile.php on line 23
how can i delete the directory ?

rmdir() is the way to go

but you are having a permissions problem, it is likely that you don't have your IUSR or Apache user (Depending on which webserver you are using) high enough permissions

give the folder you want to delete permissions of 777 for your webserver, then use the rmdir() function again

what webserver are you using...

to change permissions in 2k you just right click and goto properties, and there should be a permissions tab there. i'm really not positive cuz i used 2k for about a week, but, in xp that's where it is. another idea might be, if it's not there, is goto file options in explorer and on the advanced tab, turn off simple file sharing. that should make it so that the permissions tab is available when u right click and goto properties on a file.

oh, and i believe you have to set the permissions for the user apache or whatever you user is for your webserver. or just set annonymous to 777 lol but, i wouldn't recomend that. but if u want to, lemee know your ip address of the box you are on 🙂 cheers!

works for me. im on win2k!

$album is the folder you want to destroy. Also this deletes the files in the folder!
