Hi there i know it is silly but i cant make it lol

ok here is the problim
it is normal form i made when user come and add his feedback and it go to database

the field (note) is for the feedback the user add and it's type (Text)

so normal user come and add and it is all fine but the problim when i do display

lest say the user add this note

i love php

u see it is in 3 lines but when i try to show it show like this

Hi .. my name is mohamad i love php

also i dont want the users to add html code and if they add it will not work

can anyone help

try using echo nl2br( $string );
Its adds <br> in place of \n.

and how to dont not let the users to add HTML code and other thing i want to make range lets say 1000 chartctors i dont want the users to add more then 1000

Well, try this code:

//	the string

//	remove the html
$str = strip_tags( $str );
//	get the first 1000 characters
$str = substr( $str , 0 , 1000 );
//	print it
echo $str;
