Saving objects to file

PHP is OO right? I can make classes and so on.

If I have a class called PERSON where I store info about name, adr etc. Can I save the whole object to file?

Or must I save info line by line?

My idea is having an ARRAY containing OBJECTS which I save to FILE (Since I don't have access to DB at the moment).

You can use serialize(), and later unserialize()
