Help with exec() or I die!

I am trying to execute a shell script from a php page and keep repeatedly getting unix error code 127.Please can someone point out to me what I could be doing wrong.This is the code:

don't have permission to execute the command?

Else, the command work fine if you run it from shell?

Just run
./home/admin/truesenses/sendsms.sh account password NUMBER ORIGIN CMD MESSAGE

exec(cmd,args) do the same...

Ok.This might sound foolish since I am a win32 man who has a site on a Linux server, but how do I execute such command Line code on a remote Linux server.?

Hi,

I see two possible problems:

$gator = exec('./home/admin/truesenses/sendsms.sh'.EscapeShellArg($account&$password&$NUMBER&$ORIGIN&$CMD&$MESSAGE), $output, $error);

1) the . in front of /home, try it with "/home/admin ..."
2) no whitespace between the script and the arguments, try to replace

..../sendsms.sh'.Escape....

with

..../sendsms.sh '.Escape...

A third one,

if the script reads out the arguments with $0,$1 ..... then you might want to replace

$account&$password&$NUMBER&$ORIGIN&$CMD&$MESSAGE

with

$account $password $NUMBER $ORIGIN $CMD $MESSAGE

Just a suggestion, I need to see the contents of the shell script to see how it might work ... Did you try to execute the shell script manually ?

Yes I did and it ran smoothly.The script is meant to post off variables to a gateway which uses them to send sms.And it does this admirably
