Refresh

I have built an upload form, and it works, ut after i have uploaded a file i want it to go back to a details page. I have used the Meta refresh but this is a crap way to do it. But if i call a function it will show the message "Uploaded fine!" and then output the details page underneath it. Is there a way to stop this or clear the page??

but add this to stop re-uploading when you click Back:
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">

Why not do it this way ...

Upload the file - then use header(location.....) to go to whichever page you want with the $message variable set...

When the page you want opens, if($message){echo $message;} which will let them know if it was successful or not.

This avoids the need for an intermediate page, as well as the outputting of anything before the headers which would make the page crash...
