Page cannot be displayed...

I'm having trouble with my site. Ever since I started advancing with PHP I seem to be getting the IE "This page cannot be displayed" error. If I refresh it comes up usually. Some times on the page part of the php code is displayed, sometimes I get just jargen. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I'm using Apache, PHP, Mysql on Windows XP platform. I'm also running PHPBB v2.0 and locally it seems to be fine but other users just get a blank screen or above error??? Any suggestions?

OK sounds like you have set up phpbb to use 'localhost' as the server rather than the publically accessabile IP address

Go back into the setup and change the server from localhost to the ip address. I had the issue and it took me ages to realise that was the problem.

Cause the server is local to me it was fine - but not to my visitors

Thanks for the info however I've got everything setup correctly. If you refresh enough times it will come up however there is misc. characters on the screen. I think that perhaps there is something wrong with the way the php pages are being translated???😕
