ok, i needed to create a little thing for tracking clicks...but the problem that i am having is that some of the links contain information that is not being passed through the header...
example...this link...
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20030613/ts_alt_afp/us_offbeat_0306132219
only comes out as...
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story
i'm not sure what i can do about this?
any ideas?

hmmm...does this mean that i should be urlencoding the link before i store it in the database? i gave it a whirl inside of the forwarding script, but the encoding is messing things up...
what's the normal way one might use this?
