very simple tutorial about mysql database and images...?

it's great forum and site - i learnt so much from 0!
also a book PHP and MySQL Web Development by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson helps a lot!

do you have some online simple tutorial bookmarked?

i use SSH or Telnet to connect my database and put a bunch of info in it,
but now i think it's time to put images in it and play with them.

so how can i do that? in that black small window?

can anyone help?

The collective wisdom dictates, or rather advises, that you store images on your server and, in the database, store the path to the image.
