Only last value passed....

I have a page with approximately 30 checkboxs which are created from the contents of a database.

A user can select 1 or more of these checkboxes, my problem is when the form is submitted I am only getting the last value i.e the last checkbox which has been checked.

Any suggestions how I can overcome this?

Are your checkboxes grouped?
Then changing the name properties may help:
You are probably using name="somename"
I found that name="somename[]" will help: It changes the variable in an array, which can hold multiple values.

i don't use checkboxes that often, but i believe if can have a set of checkboxes have the same name or at least something similar.

either way, i think you have to specify php (i guess) that it should return an array or the values selected.
