Getting html to work in a db?

Ok, I have a weblog that i wrote from scratch in php and mysql. I use phpmyadmin to upload my new content to the front page. I just lick on insert inside of phpmyadmin and type what i want to be displayed. Although when i do somethign like <img src=yoyo.jpg> it displays the text and not the image. What might i need ti change in the db or just the feild in order for it to read html tags?

Hi,

You shouldn't have to do anything. BUT you have to make sure you include your <html></html> tags in the output (And all <head></head>, <body><?body> tags). Otherwise it will not be processed as HTML, but rather as plain text.

Yup, as Leatherback said, the browser deals with the HTML. The database doesn't parse/intepret anything at all. However, even the most forgiving browser requires the tags Leatherback mentioned.
