I need Ming support for PHP 4.2.3 on Linux.
Because I don't have access to the server root, I can not re-compile PHP with Ming support.
I Tried to activate a php_ming.so I found in the web, but it was compiled with different API.
PHP 4.2.3 was compiled using API=20020429.
Now I am looking for a php_ming.so also compiled with API=20020429 to download.
I even don't know if it will work that way, because I am not a Linux Expert.

I have the same problem... about the compilation.

Now I understand noone is going to bother compiling and handing us the correct php_ming.so file ...but if someone has a hint on how to compile with the correct api..whatever that means it would be helpfull...

i have this other Linux machine... so I'll try... it's just that the thought of compiling things on linux, or even just trying to get something sensible done on it (in sensible time at least) makes me re-think if I really need Ming at all...
