no global variable set?

hello!

it seems that the php system my provider installed doesn't support the automatic setting of global varaibles passed by request paramter (?seite=34) ot html form values.

if i call e.g.

seite.php?seitenid=45

there should be a global variable $seitenid with the value 45.

so .. is it really possible to deavtivate this, and - if - how can one make use of request parameters and html forms allthough?

Yes. Global variables are now turned off as a default. You should not be using them anyway, so it doesn't matter.
