Alright. It is normal to put numbers without quotes...
But if I try this:
<?php $member = 0709; $member2 = ltrim($member, 0); echo $member . '<br />' . $member2; ?>
It should print 0709<br />709 but it returns 56<br />56
0809=0
0709=56
0609=48
0509=40
0409=32
And this seems to be just because of that leading 0. Also, I thought perhaps it was taking 0 as the ascii null and messing it up, but when I tried something like 5040 and rtrim it it returns the correct value of 504...what's going on?
