Hello,
I am looking for some help with searching mysql content.
I have numerous records with a subject and a message column. Both these columns are of type text.
I would like to be able to search these columns. I've looked at MATCH and have a few questions. First if I was to use full text how would I convert my structure to full text for these two columns. Second, would I lose my data. Third, would my insert statement have to be changed?
I have also heard that full text is very slow. Is there any other solution???? I will eventually have millions of records and cannot wait for 30seconds to get results.
