Help I have fallen and I can't get up

Ok I thought it was funny.

I am trying to read a file into an array and display every line of that file in reverse order.

The file is basicly a cheap a$$ messageboard for my family. Each line of code is a new messgae with HTML tags for instance...

Any thoughts on the best way to handle this?

Try this

array array_reverse ( array array [, bool preserve_keys])

array_reverse() takes input array and returns a new array with the order of the elements reversed, preserving the keys if preserve_keys is TRUE.

The whole thing

$posts = array_reverse( file( 'posts.txt' ) );

$posts has the data in reverse order ready to print out.

Do I need to use an FOPEN or is that what the "file" part is for?

file() does everything.
It opens the file and gets every line as an array element.
