Mysql Rpm Issue?

Hi all

OK i've just made the switch from Windoze to Linux (Mandrake 9.1)

I have a problem when trying to install mysql rpm.

I have installed the server and the client rpms but when i go into the db the mysql (i.e privilige) database has not been installed. WHen i login using mysql -uroot -p only the test db is showing

Has anyone had this problem ? If so how do i get around this - i really need the mysql db to be installed
