Requesting Mail delivery receipt

Could anyone suggest how to request email delivery receipt for message send using mail() function.

Currently I'm trying

mail($email_to, "subject", $msg, "From: $email_from\r\n"."Reply-To: $email_from\r\n"."Return-Path: $email_from\r\n"."Return-Receip-To: $email_from\r\n"."X-Mailer: PHP/" . phpversion());

But it dos not work.

Any suggestions anyone? please

Try adding this header:

Disposition-Notification-To: $email_from\r\n

I've getted this from header of Eudora and don't know if work.

(May be under windows there are some problems...)

but if you are on window mail() don't send all the headers...

may be that sendmail too don't support this Extensible Message Format header, but only the old Receipt-Notification...

writing this i look in your code missing 't' in Receipt
("Return-Receipt-To:")
