Need direction for simple shopping cart

I am looking for an easy to follow tutorial that will help me build a very simple shopping cart.

All I need it to do is the following:

Collect users email address
Place items in cart
give user the ability to remove items
send shopping cart items to admin
If the user leaves, they can login and still see shopping cart items

I havent been able to find a tutorial or sample code that can help me do this. Please give me some direction. I need to get this built and I am on a slight time table.

It looked like a great tutorial...but their files are outdated. It required me to download a set of script and the link to them was dead. Any other tutorials....similar to this one anyone know about?
