there are tons of pre-built shopping carts at hotscripts.com, there is one in particular that is really simple and can be customized to your needs but i can't get to hotscripts.com right now, they must be having problems

This is a very good cart that was made by one of our very own, (Brooky). Go here for a demo of the script. Very easy to implement and modify. 🙂

yea i saw that one before... i dont exactly know how i would implement that into my site.
Very very easy. Download the script, then send over one of the pages in the script that correspond to the main page.

i dont want that whole thing though, i just want a list of products.. let the user choose the products/quantity, add it to the mini cart on the site, order their products. and leave.
