what is the equivalent of ipconfig /all for linux?

    Hey there. Well some I'm sure there are many users, including myself, who aren't familiar with linux, can you explain what that does? That might get you some more help.

      ipconfig /all is the command prompt for windows. It will show the IP address, MAC address and other info of the pc. So i would like to now what is the command for linux to get all these.

        You should try ifconfig. Atleast in the Slackware distro thats whats available.
