Rite ive been trying several poll scripts off of a site and alot of them say something like
Set permission 777 for your data directory
What i want to know is what the hell does this mean😕 😕 😕
it means to CHMOD the directory to 777...

CHMODing isn't PHP. It's something you do to change the permissions on a file or directory. You can probably CHMOD through your FTP program or if you have SSH or Telnet access, you could CHMOD there...
