how to integrate ecc in php

hello!
i'm wondering if you can help me coz i'm new to php...

i'm studying in computer science (majoring in computer system) at a local university.
For my final year thesis, i'm developing a website using php,mysql and apache web server
for a consultancy company.
In this website, i want to secure the user confidential data using one of encryption
techniques, which is ECC (elliptic curve cryptography).

But i wasn't so clear how to integrated ecc in php. Do you have any idea how i can work
on that?
Can php call "C language" library directly?

Or can you suggest me resources where i can refer on using php and ecc...

Have a look in the manual under 'Extending PPH'. www.php.net

You could always do it via a system() call to simualte a new function.
