Recursive deletion of nodes

Okay lets say I have a directory with multiple levels of categories.
Lets say "stuff" is the top directory and under stuff I have "Cars", under Cars I have "Toyota, Honda", etc and under those I have the different models.

When I delete stuff, everything should be deleted. I can only get it to delete 2 levels, how do you get it to delete everything?

A shell script is probably the easiest way... Be carefull with it, though 😉

I'm not trying to delete a directory. These are configuration files some of which have parent config files. They are all in the same directory. The child config files aren't in sub-directories, all the config files are in the same directory.

The layout is like this:

Device= eth1 , 100Mbit, 10Mbit
RATE= 50 Kbit
Weight= 5 Kbit
PRIO= 5
Bounded= No
#Rulename= stuff
#uid= 12
Parent=cbq-11.vw11
rule=10.2.2.0/24:22

See the parent line. When I delete that parent file all files with that parent should die and so should all grandparents, and so on.

I'm completely stuck!
