I have seen time and time again people link others' to phpbb, and invisionboard, etc.. I use them both and enjoy them, but there are some features that they don't have that they will not allow you to ADD AND REDISTIBUTE in a full package. So I have ventured off anf decided I wanna write my own. I have mild knowledge and can get a lot of help if I need it from some php experts.
I wanna write something like a phpBB clone. With basic folders with the needed files, etc. I don't wanna step on phpBB toes, and seem as if I am ripping their stuff, but I DO have the same files as them, just no written the same (there is quite a bit the same like your basic posting, and replying, etc and there's a lot of stuff DIFFERENT) Allthough these things are the same, I didn't copy them I wrote them myself, it just seems to me that I may have problems in the future because I have"EXACTLY" the same setup and file names, but again they are written differently...
What should I do?
Possibly add all my files into less amount of files like all my admin files in the admin folder and make the end up viewing like this admin.php?action=management ?
