Reference for configure command options

Is there a reference site that explains all the different configure options? I'm trying to figure out what each of the following means...

Hi,

there are two ways:

1) If you execute ./configure --help it will print out a brief description of the options.
2) a description of a subset of these options is part of the php manual http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.configure.php

The shared, means that that extension will be compiled as shared => you have to enable it in the php.ini by uncommenting the ;extension=... line. This will result in shared library being compiled (e.g. php_imap.so)
