mysql and php on rh8.0

i managed to install MyQSL PhP and Apache (i did not use the rpm).
now everything is running, but if I try to get MySQL using php , i got the *.php page display in the browser a if it was html, i think this has to be a prob with lib, i install to php-mysql (no rpm).
has anyone hat this problem?

Hi,

in most cases this happens if apache isn't set up correctly. Did you add the LoadModule AddModule and AddType directives in the httpd.conf ?
