um, 'md' in dos makes a dir.
well, at least it does for 98.. dunno if it's the same for nt.. should be though
if not try mkdir

del (deletes file or folder)
rd (removes directory)
format c: (format c🙂
attrib (changes windows attributes (read/archive/system/hidden))
copy (from, to)
move (from, to)
ren (rename file/folder)
