mixing innodb and isam (mysql)

I'm thinking of changing some of the tables in my site to type innodb, and leaving others as isam. does anyone know of any problem with doing a select across different table types? (ie, say i'm joining on tables X and Y; X is innodb, Y is isam.) Performance issues? bugs? etc.

The only issue I'm aware of is that MySQL used to let you initiate a transaction across both types, but would not be able to roll back the change to the myISAM tables. I don't know if there was a fix for this or not.

Other than that, it should work ok.
