Handling Multiple CheckBoxes

I need to have the ability to take any number of checkboxes on a form, lets say 10, and only allow a certain number to be selected at a time, lets say 2. Can someone help me out? Thanks, Jeremy

Cool...it works BUT is there a way to do this with PHP and not JavaScript? Client wants PHP only. Thanks, Jeremy

No, what you're talking about definitely sounds like a client-side thing, not a server-side thing.

The best you could do without JavaScript is check it (with PHP) after the form is submitted, and then send them back to the form along with a message letting them know they checked too many boxes. With JavaScript, you can let them know as soon as they do it (without making an unnecessary trip back to the server).
