PHP and Mac

You have a windows section and a Linux section, what about a Mac section?
With the release of os X, it has become my primary dev box.

maybe we need to see how many ppl actually use mac? i really don't know what the percentage is in the dev market, but.. it probly wouldn't hurt to have a small section just for that, even if there aren't many people that use it :S i dunno..

this could be a possibility, but os x is really unix with a fancy gui, it is pretty much like running a linux box, mostly anyway

you have a terminal (command line), etc.... just like any flavor of *nix

I agree with greg252. There are plenty of developers out there running PHP on a mac, and I think having a section for mac users would be a great idea.

stolzyboy, I'm sure there are plenty of mac users who don't feel comfortable with the command line. Chances are, if your on a mac and are having problems integrating PHP, then you'll want specific advice from mac users with a similar version of your OS. I for one, remember jumping through a few hoops with sendmail, MySQL, and PHP. Fortunately there is a great forum over at macosxhints.com where much help can be found for PHP on a Mac.
