problems with headers

Ok, I wrote this script with a simpel errorhandling. To display the errors, I give values to a variabel and in my html I got this piece of code:
<?=$errormessage?>

Now, when I try to submit, php shows this error:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /data/village/oneduffless/oneduffless_levillage_org/www/poll ontwerp tshirts/ontwerppoll.php:7) in /data/village/oneduffless/oneduffless_levillage_org/www/poll ontwerp tshirts/ontwerppoll.php on line 56

I know when using headers nothing may be printed to the screen. But I used this same structure before and it worked fine. Could anyone give me a hand with this? Thanx!!

When you take a look at your script, You will notice that you have HTML output at the top of the document. headers must be set before any output, such as HTML. take a look at header.

maar goed, volgens mij moet je die html shit ff weghalen daarboven....

Als ik die html weghaal, werkt het niet en als ik
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="0; url=document2.html">
gebruik, wordt ie direct bij het laden geredirect en das niet de bedoeling he.

Als je helemaal bovenaan het eerste stuk HTML knipt en dan plakt boven de styles dan geeft ie toch geen error met die header?
In feite is er dan niets verandert aan script toch?
