ok i have it all installed how do i connect to a database using phpbb forum installation
I don't think phpBB supports interbase yet. It does support Postgresql, and we use it where I work with it so I know it works well.
It probably wouldn't be that hard to port it to interbase. You might be able to get it to use ODBC and work.

What did you have to do? I'm sure other interbase / firebird users would want to know.
i just didnt realise tht it had to be on local host but i want to be able to connect to it form any where
