How to count the date from one period to one period. For example, 12-MAY-2003 to 4-Jun-2003, what language should I use and how?

Can you please try being more specific on what you wanna do? Maybe tell us a little bit more about the table structure 🙂

In either case, just mktime the dates to get the timestamps and then compare date >= lower_timestamp and date <= upper_timestamp or something like that.

Either way, post a little of the structure so we can help you better

I use oracle as my back-end database, I just want to count the number of days in 23-APR-2003 to 12-JUL-2003.

Then how about excluding the saturday and sunday, it is only count from monday to friday only.
